At the heart of the frame are metal-to-metal, bolt together construction techniques. The one -piece bracket rigidly secures the cabinet and leg assembly with 28 bolts. The laminated hardwood support beams bolt directly to the cabinet at multiple points, and are double interlocked for additional strength.
Polyurethane finish offers a better resistance to heat, solvents and abrasions than the lacquer finishes commonly used on most pool tables.
Slate has long been the preferred playing surface for pool tables. We go one step beyond most manufacturers and demand only quarry-mined, diamond-honed to within ten thousandth’s of one inch over the entire playfield. We also specify solid wood as the substrate for framed slate. This solid wood backing is glued directly to the slate, and allows the felt to be stapled to the wood.
Better Top Rail Assembly
Our proprietary, K-66 profile gum rubber cushions have canvas vulcanized into the top and back, crucial for consistent and accurate rebounds. The top rails are bolted to the slate using floating nut plates. This technique allows the rails to be tightened against the slate with greater torque than standard T-nut or threaded insert construction. All of our tables include inlaid diamond shaped rail sites, a limited, life time guarantee that includes the cushion rubber.
